Ten years ago, I met Sarah Chapin in Cherry Creek North for her interview to be a Media Planner-Buyer here at Explore Communications. We were supposed to have lunch at True Food Kitchen but someone forgot to make a reservation (it really is hard to find good help) and it was a 45-minute wait so we decided to walk over to the Starbucks a few blocks away.
By the time we got to Starbucks, I knew that we’d be making an offer to Sarah. The interrogative interview I had planned for her ended up being a pleasant conversation about life and laughter. The former has been a wonderful ride and the latter has been plentiful.
Sarah’s ten-year anniversary of working at Explore Communications was celebrated with a much deserved promotion from AMD to Media Director. Sarah’s contributions to Explore over the last decade exceeded all expectations and has helped the company grow in revenue and reputation. Most importantly to our little Explore family, Sarah has brought expertise that is delivered with enthusiasm, creativity and happiness. Sarah is an amazing coworker and an even better friend.
The next decade at Explore is exciting to think about. We have an amazing team and everyone on it would agree that Franklin D. Roosevelt’s quote, “It is fun to be in the same decade with you,” applies to Sarah. The first decade with Sarah at Explore was amazing. The next one will be even better with her leadership.
